Doug brings his enthusiasm for recruiting to your open positions from 25 years of experience as an in-house and search firm recruiter with top organizations. He began his career at the largest communications company at the time, Time-Warner, supervising recruitment activities for Warner Bros. Entertainment. Always interested in discovering talent, Doug segued into Warner Bros. Feature Casting Department working on the Batman and Lethal Weapon franchises, Doug enjoyed working on Spiderman, Stuart Little 2, Payback, and Conspiracy Theory. He learned a lot about film development, production, and distribution during these years, but his real passion was Recruitment which he returned to in 2006.

In the last 20 years, Doug worked for top search firms such as: DeForest Search, Conexus, and his firm, Newport Recruiting, where he made placements at top Media and Entertainment, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Technology, Multi-Site Retailers, and Restaurants before starting East West Solutions USA in 2025.

Doug resides in Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles and enjoys playing tennis at the Lauderdale Tennis Club, volunteering at The Pride Center, and First Presbyterian Church and recently reached the Five-Gallon Blood Donor status with OneBlood.
